"Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in."

I was lucky enough to have the privilege of breaking out into a timeless universe that Mr. Cohen so skillfully creates with his surreal voice and flawless orchestra. The atmosphere was incredibly intimate, as if he'd played a private concert for the lovers and broken-hearted nevertheless, knowing how to reverberate each indiviual's most secluded melancholies.
There he was, with each note overcoming his venerable age (he's in his mid 70s!), a perfectionist in his craft, weaving his life experience in chanted poems across the public gathered in a rather small venue, at about 3000 seats.
The world needs such vivid souls to handle all the madness.
