Creativity in advertising

It seems that no matter how much copywriters try these days, all liquid drops won't splash in anything but horses, to be more specific, 2 horses, veeery similar horses.

After being rather impressed by the out-of-the-box ad for Carpatina, it seems that it was rather more of a copy-paste ad.

I found this by chance on the author's website and I'd rather doubt that Soplica belongs to the same group Carpatina does. But who knows, anything's possible.

Haha, that's ridicoulous, I mean at least Soplica has a horse in its logo (even though with a rider, but still). What do horses have to do with mineral water and mountains... Why didn't they draw some reindeers, or sth.? I guess they counted on the fact that no Romanian is watching Polish commercials and viceversa...

Ha! I was the retoucher on the soplica job. I had good fun doing it... I've definitely not seen that mineral water shot before - very nice though...

I've always said that; these days, all advertising is regurgitated. most layouts i get are from a handful of getty shots comp'd together - with some other shots which describe the look and feel of what they want. very rarely do we (as a photographic studio) receive a hand drawn idea which we are to develop... I guess it's mainly because end clients want to know what they are getting before they commit to putting any money down...

Anyway - rant over - Soplica by the way is a Vodka - incase you were wondering...

thanks for putting these two together.

by the by - how did you "stumble" across my site?
